1) All accounts created stay, regardless of if people use them or not. There are hundreds if not thousands of test accounts, dupes, one time user that pops in, etc. I think they were pruned once or twice but in general they stay.
2) As you've guessed, most viewers don't post and that's probably for the best. We already move pretty quick as it is. If anyone is asking themselves "why?" about #2, I'll say this. There isn't a whole lot of new stuff to talk about for a 16 year old car. New things are going on that are exciting buy that's the forum traffic we have already (add in some trolling; stir gently). For everything else, Damon and Greg prefer people to go elsewhere. Most of us have other sites for the mindless banter. Hope that helps.
